Privacy & data
Last updated: June 2026
CrewPick is designed to be as lightweight as possible: no accounts, no passwords, no emails. This page explains what data we store, for how long, and why.
What data we store
When you create or join a room, we store:
- The room name and the options being voted on.
- The name (or alias) you enter when joining. We don't verify identity: you can use any name.
- The ranking you submit when voting.
What we DON'T store
- We don't ask for email, phone, or password.
- We don't create user accounts.
- We don't permanently store your IP address.
Captcha (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To prevent bots when creating or joining a room, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile may set technical Cloudflare cookies needed to verify you're human. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that only collects aggregated statistics (page views and events like "room created" or "vote submitted"), with no personally identifiable data.
How long we keep data
Rooms and all their data (names, options, and votes) are automatically deleted 14 days after creation via a scheduled job in our database.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (PostgreSQL).
